Sterling, Conn. - A Moosup woman has been airlifted to Providence Hospital after a single-vehicle motor vehicle accident Friday evening. According to the Connecticut State Police (CSP), at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, a 53-year-old Moosup woman, operating a 2001 Ford Escape, was traveling west on Plainfield Pike when she lost control and struck a rock wall on the opposite side of the roadway. The vehicle overturned multiple times prior to coming to a stop on its side in the yard of 851 Plainfield Pike. During the rollover, the operator was ejected from the vehicle.
